Nostalgia is a good thing.

It was the 40th anniversary of Woodstock and my staff’s reaction to my trip down memory lane that…when taking photographs to update our website, Sheri, one of my staff, thought it would be interesting to juxtapose the 25-year old Mac Plus computer and a 15-year old cell phone with the new MacPro Powerbook and iphone. The photo shows me with Denis, our web developer, who is a student at UConn and a brilliant coder and web designer. How things change and still stay the same.

Being goofy, every now and then, provides relief from the unpredictable times we are in. Being able to talk about what it was like many years ago to Gen-Y staff person puts my professional and life experience in context. I wouldn’t change a thing from the ups and downs of working with hundreds of clients and dozens of current and past employees, and the lessons I learned. The journey is more exciting than the end result except for going bald and putting on a few pounds.

I always count my blessings.
